Last Friday evening, Buranda State School held their first ever Art Soirée to help raise funds for the school. The event was hugely successful with a large turnout from the local community.
Amongst the highlights were several performances from the students as well as an Auction run by Jeff Jones Real Estate. The auction certainly drew a lot of interest from everyone attending with the most sought after item being $650 for a weekend away at the Moffat Beach Rainforest Retreat.
A great evening was had by everyone and we look forward to this becoming an annual event for the local school.
