City Plan 2000 vs. City Plan 2014 – What’s the difference?

Brisbane City Council are changing the planning scheme as of 30 June 2014.

The new plan provides a lot more detail around multiple dwelling planning and small lots. Generally higher use of LMR sites is permissible. We have seen an enormous upturn in interest over the last 12 months for these properties.

Alexander Steffan from Steffan Town Planning has put together a report outlining the key changes in the new plan. It offers a great overview of the new plan with key changes identified from the previous plan.
