Property Consultant

Help tenants find the right home while building relationships that grow our rental portfolio.

This role sits at the centre of our leasing process while also creating opportunities to grow into business development and sales.

Some team members enjoy focusing on leasing and client service. Others develop into portfolio growth or sales roles.

At Jeff Jones, this position provides a pathway into multiple parts of the real estate industry.

About the Role

As a Property Consultant you will assist prospective tenants through the leasing process while supporting our property management team.

The role focuses on helping applicants inspect properties, answering questions, and assisting with the process of securing a rental home.

For team members interested in growth, the role also offers opportunities to participate in business development activities by identifying and assisting new property management clients.

Some consultants focus primarily on leasing, while others choose to develop skills in client growth, sales support, and business development.

This flexibility allows the role to grow alongside your interests and career goals.

Why This Role is Different

Many leasing roles in real estate focus only on conducting inspections and processing applications.

At Jeff Jones, this role can develop into something much broader.

While the core responsibility is assisting prospective tenants through the leasing process, team members also gain exposure to other parts of the business including property management, portfolio growth and property sales.

Some consultants enjoy focusing on leasing and client service, while others develop skills in business development by identifying opportunities to grow our property management portfolio.

For those interested in sales, the role can also provide experience supporting the sales team with inspections and buyer enquiries.

This flexibility allows the position to grow with the individual and provides a pathway into multiple areas of the real estate industry.
