The role includes overseeing a portfolio of properties, coordinating maintenance and compliance, and ensuring communication between clients, tenants and our internal team remains clear and timely.

What the job involves

The role, and what it means for you

Hours: Full time, 38 hours, Monday to Friday. We’re open 8:30am to 5:30pm, with flexibility around start and finish times. Part-time, four days a week, is considered.
On call: No on-call or after-hours rota.
Conditions: Standard full-time leave and conditions. Company car provided. A current driver’s licence is required.

For experienced property managers

Day to day: Run your own portfolio: tenant enquiries and repairs, owner instructions and reporting, inspections, and lease renewals.
Pay: Competitive base salary, set by your experience and track record.
Your portfolio: You’ll take on your own portfolio after a short induction into our systems.
Support: A team leader and senior property manager are there for anything new to you.
Registration: You’ll need a real estate salesperson registration or licence.
Progression: We’ll partner with you to map out a career. There are opportunities to be involved in the growth and development of the business.

For people new to property

Day to day: Answer tenant enquiries about maintenance and the condition of their home, and arrange repairs. Keep owners informed and get their instructions, including on lease renewals.
Pay: Base salary from $55,000 while you learn. Your income can grow as your results do.
Induction: A structured induction into how we work, covering when to handle a situation yourself and when to pass it to a senior manager.
Learning on the job: You’ll work alongside a more senior property manager for as long as you need, realistically up to 12 months.
Your portfolio: Once you’ve completed induction, you’ll become the main contact for your own portfolio.
Training: External training, including a membership with Real Estate Excellence, plus hands-on training from our team leader, with Matt involved directly.
Registration: You’ll need a real estate salesperson registration within three months of starting. You can start before you hold it, and we’ll support you through the course.
Progression: Most growth comes through a larger portfolio and bringing in new clients, rather than moving into senior management roles.

What we’re looking for

Knowledge of Queensland residential tenancy legislation
Strong communication and organisation skills
Ability to manage competing priorities
A professional approach to client relationships

Experience in property management is valued but not essential.
