Our story

A local business that grew with the area.

Jeff Jones Real Estate began in 1977 when Jeff and Judy Jones opened a small local office in Brisbane’s inner south.

From the beginning, the focus was simple — helping local people buy, sell and manage property with honest advice, strong local knowledge and long-term relationships at the centre of the business.

While the business has evolved alongside Brisbane’s inner south, Jeff Jones Real Estate has always remained firmly connected to the local area. Since opening in 1977, the business has focused on helping people buy, sell and manage property throughout Greenslopes, Stones Corner, Coorparoo, Woolloongabba and the surrounding suburbs.

Many of our clients have worked with us for decades — not only because of the results we achieve, but because of the relationships built along the way.

Owners trust us with long-term investment properties, families return to us through different stages of life and many new clients come to us through recommendations from existing ones.

Many long-term clients still remember when the business was a small local office with Jeff, Judy and Marie McMenemy working side by side. And today, more than 40 years later, Marie remains part of the business.

That continuity matters to us.

Evolving with the area

Brisbane’s inner south has changed significantly since the late 1970s. Jeff Jones Real Estate has grown alongside it - through changing markets, new legislation, technology shifts and the continued growth of property investment across the area.

A family business across generations

Jeff and Judy retired from the business in 2008, however their long-standing approach to client service continues to influence the business today. The company is now led by the next generation, with Craig Jones, Matt Jones and Marie McMenemy as partners in the business.
